About PNR Status

What is a PNR Number?

PNR (Passenger Name Record) is a unique 10-digit number assigned to every booked train ticket in India. It stores your journey details, including passenger info, coach/seat number, and current confirmation status (CNF, WL, RAC). You can find it on the top left corner of your printed ticket or in the SMS confirmation.

How to Check PNR Status?

  1. Locate your 10-digit PNR number on your ticket.
  2. Click on any of the service links above (e.g., IRCTC, ConfirmTkt).
  3. Enter your PNR number in the search box on their website.
  4. Click "Get Status" to see your current booking status and seat details.
